Snacking on the Rise

Consumers are looking for snacks that bridge the gap between meals as well as meal replacers. The three major areas that consumers are looking at according to (fooddive.com) is freshness (43%), low sugar (36%) and low fat (31%). While convenience is number one on consumers’ minds they also don’t want to sacrifice health or creativity in their flavor options.

 

This last month, Carolyn came up with a new way to showcase her new Peach Tea Blend. She incorporated them into house made marshmallows. They were a big hit at the Suppliers Night that we showcased them at. We also then spun the peach tea marshmallows into flavored rice crispy treats. Both applications were big hits in our lab with employees for their bright flavor profile and snackability.
